eBook Support
NASW Press eBooks can be downloaded to any desktop, iOS, or Android device; they are most compatible with desktop use. NASW Press eBooks are protected with digital rights management (DRM). Once downloaded, you will be able to view your eBook on six different devices at different times, both online and offline. Note: eBooks may be purchased online in single quantities only. If you are having technical difficulties with your eBook, please contact our customer service team at na*******@*******ey.net.
Step 1: Download Your Software
To view your eBook, you must first create an account with ByteBooks, Bluefire Reader, or other software that is DRM compatible. Downloads may require administrative privileges. Note that Adobe Digital Editions, Adobe Content Server, and the Adobe Reader Mobile SDK now require a ByteBooks login.
For Adobe/ByteBooks users:
- If you already have an Adobe ID, you will need to reauthorize your account with ByteBooks. You will not lose any books in your library, and you will not have to re-download Adobe Digital Editions. Learn more about the transition here(opens in new tab).
- If you are new to Adobe/ByteBooks digital readers, create a ByteBooks account here. To view your eBook, you must download and install Adobe Digital Editions here(opens in new tab).
- Once you have an ByteBooks ID and Adobe Digital Editions, make sure your device is authorized with your ByteBooks ID before attempting to download the file.
Step 2: Access Your eBook
After you make your purchase, you will receive an email receipt with a link to the download.
Restrictions
- Access is restricted to use by a single consumer with authentication through a ByteBooks ID.
- The eBook file may not be shared with another user.
- The eBook may not be copied or printed.
- NASW Press eBooks are not PDFs and they are not viewable with Adobe Acrobat Reader. Rather, they are epub files (named "URLlink.acsm").
- If you receive an error message with Adobe Acrobat Reader, you will need to add the eBook file directly through Adobe Digital Editions or right click the file and choose to open with Adobe Digital Editions.
